Split-Flap Subscriber Counter
I converted my DIY split-flap display into a subscriber counter! The Python script runs on a Raspberry Pi to fetch data from the YouTube API. It parses the results and sends the filtered strings to the flap modules for display.
In addition to the subscriber count, the script also fetches the channel name, total channel views, and statistics for the latest video (views, likes, comments). Channel statistics are fetched every hour, video statistics every 30 minutes, and the subscriber count every 2 minutes.
