I've released the tool seen in these videos publicly, free and opensource at: https://github.com/HelloKitty/GladerSpyroTools

This tool can be used to bring in Spyro maps from SpyroWorldViewer and add the vertex colors. It also contains a feature for vertex color blending that I don't think any other tool has supported before. You can do this all without using ANY modeling software!
