April 1, 2020 Sydney, Australia - Square Enix made an April Fools prank on all Aussie Gamers by making a suprise release of the highly requested and anticipated remake of their flagship game franchise, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE.
Originally set to be out world wide by early March of 2020, Square Enix decided to delay the release until April due to creative reasons. However, in lieu of recent events that devastated the globe during the first quarter of the year; the company ultimately decided that it would be better to release it in April 2020 as planned rather than postponed the game again indefinitely.
Despite Square Enix action to release the game in Australia nine days ahead of schedule, the company has been campaigning to all Aussie Video Game Retail Stores for all buyers of the game TO NOT SPOIL THE GAME CONTENTS TO OTHERS WHO HAVE NOT YET GOTTEN THEIR COPIES.
Final Fantasy VII REMAKE is the remastered version of the 1997 Play Station 1 original Final Fantasy VII, developed by Square Enix for the Eight Generation Consoles.
