STAR TREK ONLINE (ft. Nightgalem) | Normal Video Game Review Show #5
This is Normal Video Game Review Show, boldly going where no show was meant to go.

--THE BLURB--
Captain's log, stardate ... um ... 12345ABC.
On tonight's episode, our Host and captain is reviewing popular MMO Star Trek Online, the RPG based on Gene Roddenberry's famous TV universe (not including Discovery, unless you count the 2018 update which people didn't really like...). This is a first-look review, starting the game from scratch and reviewing the first few hours.
But all is not well in the land of Normal Video Game Review Show. Points Squid, the Host's treasured-but-not-treasured-enough companion is gone, leaving him all alone with his new sponsors - who continue to plaster logos all over the episode. From a purely logistical standpoint, this causes issues because normally each game review is signed off with "so how did Points Squid rate the game?", which obviously we couldn't do. This led to one of our weirdest outros yet, and our Host's wearing of a skin-tight black suit (skin-tight and nylony makes it sci-fi, yes??).
So, yeah. It's an episode.
--WHAT IS NVGRS?--
Imagine the worst Star Trek villain you can think of. Normal Video Game Review Show is a comedy gaming show that is to YouTube what that villain is to Star Trek. It's a parody of YouTube reviews, with the style of humour you'd expect to see from Charlie Brooker or Chris Morris, except not remotely as funny as either of them.
