Star Wars Battlefront - DLC maps in Single Player Mod
Brilliant mod for Star Wars Battlefront created by someone called Reese Taylor, that allow you to re-access some of the DLC content that is now more or less inaccessible owing to the fact it was only ever available in mulitplayer and the servers for the DLC games seem pretty dead now. This is version 1.3 of the mod, I tried v1.4 awhile back and uploaded a few videos then https://youtu.be/XL5cb3P9HHc. The only playable maps in that version were Cloud City in Walker Assault and Imperial Blockade in Fighter Squadron, so I was pleasantly surprised to see even more of the DLC maps working in this older version of the mod.
The trade off though is that there's no AI of any kind in the ground maps, whereas v1.4 did have the Viper Droids on Cloud City that would attack you. In v1.4's working Fighter Squadron map the AI ships didn't shoot back at you and you could only attack TIE Interceptors (not the regular TIE Fighters) and, weirdly, X-Wings, but shooting down X-Wings counts towards the opposing side's score https://youtu.be/Mf9ZLvvKBLQ
V1.4 also allowed you to choose an Imperial or Rebel skin in both modes, but you are always playing for the rebel side. In the v1.3 mod you are always the rebels, but things play as you'd expect, being able to shoot down both types of TIE fighters and not accidentally shooting down your fellow Rebels. The AI ships once again don't shoot back at you. It's Possible to get into the Bespin Fighter Squadron map too, but there are no AI ships at all in that one, other than the 2 Imperial Transport Shuttles you can gun down.
Anyway, if you've got the PC version of the game and want to try this out for yourself, the link to it below. You can find tutorials on how to get it working at the site too.

None of the Scarif maps work in the mod, but as it's coming to BF2, hopefully this month, that won't be an issue. I haven't included any footage of the Cloud City Walker Assault map here as I covered it fairly extensively in the video I linked to earlier in the description. I'd really love to see the remaining DLC Cloud City and Outer Rim maps (particularly the Carbonite freezing chamber) make their way over to BF2.
