As one would understand, the ratio of a gearbox effects the speed of one rotor as related to another rotor. If said rotor has more mass than the other, generally the larger mass rotor will overcome and affect the lower mass rotor's speed in relation to that said ratio and therefore when something like the above does not line up with reality, it begs the question whether the simulation is flawed...or maybe there was just a simple logic error that I bet the developer could fix relatively quick (is the speed of the engine clamped at some limit or the variables used limited to a certain bit size?).
