I just bought Streets of Rage 4 in the Playstation Store & this game is better than I thought it would be. It has newer characters, newer enemies, along with unlockable, playable characters. So far I've unlocked two new characters. One of the is Adam Hunter & Streets of Rage 1 Axel. Streets of Rage 1 Axel plays just like he did in part one. He has no charge move, but his special is calling the police officer that shoots at your enemies. My only gripe with it is not every character can run. In Streets of Rage 3, all of the playable characters could run. Three of starting characters (Axel, Blaze, & Floyd) can't run. I wish they would also give you an option how you want your special move to function. In Streets of Rage 2, you lost a little bit of health when performed a special move. I Streets of Rage 3, you could safely perform your special move without losing health after a short time. In Streets of Rage 4, you can perform a special move without losing health, only if you can land a certain number of combo hits without taking damage from other enemies first. Its more of a risk vs. reward type thing. I wish they had that listed in the options menu. Overall its a fun game. Anyone who likes side scrolling beat'em ups, or liked playing the original Streets of Rage games, will enjoy this game.
