The more I play this game, the more it feels like my favorite game in the Castlevania series. It has outstanding music and atmosphere, and the 8-way whipping really opens up the gameplay possibilities.

I've played through this first level way too many times, especially while trying to get a good recording for this. After a while, it became really streamlined like this. I try and jump whip as much as possible to keep moving, and try and attack enemies before they even get in my way. I do wander out of my way a bit to find hidden things sometimes, even if I don't need them. The game gets a lot harder later, so not every level goes as well as this.

Also, I faked all of you out at 6:10. Bet you thought I was gonna whip that candle and get that meat! And then I finish with a cool mid-air pose.
