In this video I check out a mod for the PC port of Super Mario 64 called Super Mario Kart 64. This mod lets you pick from the 8 characters from Mario Kart 64 which are Mario, Luigi, Peach , Toad, Yoshi, DK, Wario & Bowser. This is a demo for the mod and converts Bob-omb Battlefield into a racetrack. This mod also includes a Kart & also custom item boxes.

install instructions
-copy the contents of the zip on the Render96ex-master branch
(on sm64ex-nightly doesn't work)
-use EXTERNAL_DATA and NO_DRAWING_DISTANCE on compile options, DON'T USE BETTER_CAMERA!!,
the game have his own camera,the 60fps patch DON'T WORK (sorry guys).
-for the voices and music, copy the file "music.zip" on the folder "res".
-now, you need to skip the peach letter cutscene, for that, go to the folder "appdata",
search the folder "sm64ex", open the txt "sm64config" and change
"skip_intro false" by "skip_intro true", IF YOU DON'T MAKE THIS STEP, THE GAME WILL CRASH

ADDITIONAL NOTES

-the bobomb item is useless, maybe i'll remove it on future updates.
-some animations needs some work
-the low poly version will take more time, meanwhile fznmeatpopsticle finish
the rest of the cast (yoshi, wario and dk)
-touching a chain chomp and a wake up piranha plant is a insta-kill
-feel free of sending feedback, comments and suggestions and reporting bugs and glitches
i'll try to make this mod better and better over time
