Sword & Shield Animset Pro can work with Unity 5 beta 18 and Playmaker 1.8 beta.

It requires half an hour of fixing bugs that appear while converting from Unity 4.6 though - Mecanim graph looses transitions, Tags and Layers disappear, FSMs loose variables and events... that's expected cause both programs are beta versions.

So it can be done, but I highly advise to just wait until Unity 5 and Playmaker are a little further in development.
