This is a tool assisted speedrun of Lugmillord's Super Mario 64 ROM Hack "Super Mario 74 Extreme Edition". If you don't know what a TAS is, check out this explanation first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ietk1-Wb7oY

The goal of this TAS is to complete the game as quickly as possible while meeting the 50 star door requirement to enter the second Bowser stage. From there, a simple unintended clip leads to an area that is meant to be part of the Bowser 3 course, but was stored in the Bowser 2 level due to memory restrictions. Thus, it is possible to skip straight from the second Bowser stage to the final one.

Notice that this run does not prohibit the use of BLJ. It is, however, required to pass through the 50 star door. I made this decision mostly to showcase the unrestricted potential of a TAS run.

Credit goes to sm64expert for a few stars in the beginning of the run and the whole SM64 TAS community for so thoroughly documenting the game's engine as well as providing useful tools, and of course to Lugmillord for creating this hack.
