The Basics & Common Mistakes - Mastering Terror 1: A Necromancer's guide to Terrormancer
63Part 1 in a 6 part series this is a basic guide to getting started in playing Terromancer / Condition Necro. This is a Progression Series not a stand alone video. Showing the learning process through my very first rated arena match as a terrormancer that is full of mistakes, this video shows common mistakes when starting this build, in an attempt to help you from making them, progressing through video 6 and 20 ranks, where you can see how it all comes together with enough practice. Starting with Traits, Sigils, and Runes, then moving on to Utility Skill options and demonstrations on training golems. I will show you How to set it up, how it works, what your role is, what traits to take as well as variation suggestions, the basics of Dot damage, Fear casting, and the proper use of Death Shroud. then and moving into a fully narrated rated arena match showing The Do's and Dont's through in game successes and mistakes.
Added June 5th --- The point of this video was to be part of a series that when viewed as a whole showed the progression of Learning Terrormancer. There were a lot of mistakes made in the arena video I used in this tutorial, this video was chosen intentionally so you can see the common mistakes, of mark spamming, and not using skills correctly. These are common mistakes, I made them , and most people do make them. That was the point of this video, this is not a "Hey look at how good I am" Video, it is a guide in an attempt to help people learn how to play this build. In fact this match was 1 of the first matches I ever played after 2 years away from GW2, and at the time I created the master terror part 1 tutorial video, I actually had much more footage without as many mistakes I could have used for video 1. A pro Necromancer would have no need for this guide or any guide for that matter, and furthermore would not need to Critique this video because Mastering Terror is for new players, that want to learn, with a friendly host, in a non hostile environment. When you watch all 6 videos together as they were meant to be viewed, you can see the clear progression from Rank 33 to Rank 45. I am currently rank 50 and I am still loving Terrormancer.
The word Mastering means in the process of becoming a master. I did not name this guide "Terrormancer Tips from a Master" As with all of the "Mastering" videos, they are learn with me, progression videos, that are supposed to be helpful, fun, and build a community, and open discussions.
