The Best of Retro VGM #1771 - Maniac Mansion (NES) - Dave's Theme
Requested by Raptor.
[This game actually got ported to NES/Famicom twice. The first port was developed by Jaleco in 1988. They tried to make the game more appealing to the Japanese audiences by making it all cutesy and anime. My guess is that Lucasfilm wasn't a fan, since they later ported the game themselves (with assistance from Realtime "Bug!" Associates), creating a far more accurate port. Kind of shame it didn't pan out, honestly, I would love to see something like Day of the Tentacle or the Monkey Island series in an anime-inspired art style.]
