The Cheapest FPV mount ever for wifi connected Drones
0After looking at a few FPV Googles, I then noticed at how expensive they are.
This got me thinking, since I use my smartphone as the main FPV Screen, then all I needed was a way to attach that in front of my face.
So after much research I finally bought a GoPro Extension Arm for £6.50 from China. It arrived today and I'm pleased to say, it does exactly as what I thought it would do.
The smartphone is held away from your face at a distance with the extension arm, in order to avoid eye strain. So there is no way your going to get strained eyes, from this set up.
The only problem now, is that I need to work out how block the light from outside. So I think my next step will be to make a cover to fit over this setup and encase the smartphone inside it's own dark cover.
I may use cardboard for this, or may go with something with a little bit stronger. Any way I'll update you on any progress in due course.
But again this has got to be the cheapest FPV mount set up ever :)
