Welcome to by first review of the brand new Shrapnel Trap, available initially by completing the Season 3 Manhunt.

This variant offers very high damage and excels in area control. I found that it was most powerful in PvP, with a well optimised skill tier 6 build allowing each trap to hit for well over 2 million damage. Add in some gear and weapon talents and this can be closer to 5 million PER TRAP (PvE)!

I like this variant, the radius is small but if anything walks through them (PvP or PvE), they're going to take extreme amounts of damage.
