135We won't be using any pure food dye drops here! Just two easily available food ingredients, and the preparation is simply a matter of mixing them together with a spoon! No blenders or any cooking required! The video is less than a minute long because it's that's quick and easy!
You can improve this fake blood base by adding more ingredients to the mix, but I use this 2-ingredient version often. If I need it thicker, I sometimes swap the chocolate syrup for a thick barbecue sauce, or even cocoa powder if it needs to be drier. You can also substitute the strawberry syrup with red gelatin powder. Experiment with stuff in your kitchen and you might be surprised!
If you were wondering, the syrup brand I used for both was Hershey's. (Not sponsored 😆) By themselves, they have not left any permanent stains on the clothes and surfaces I have gotten them on, but you could get different results so it's best to test it out before pouring a whole bucket of this stuff on yourself!
