1So what exactly is The Long Dark?
The Long Dark is a first person survivor simulation, which take’s place after a geomagnetic storm ravaged the world’s technology, leaving humanity struggling.
There are no store’s to simply shop from anymore, no television, no radio.
On the day of the geomagnetic storm, all light’s were turned off.. and yet, you picked up a torch in order to light your own path to continue living.
The long dark pushes you to think for yourself.
There are no rule’s here, except for the rule’s of nature.
You wish to survive?
Be prepared to scavenge, hunt, cook, mend your wound’s and continue surviving against the odd’s.
As I said, there are no rule’s.
So if you happen to find yourself inside an abandoned house and you are mighty thirsty, do feel free to take a glass of water from the toilet.
Pop open that can of dog food and munch it down as if it was the feast of a lifetime.
Nobody will judge you, except for yourself.
Be creative and use anything that you can to your advantage, in order to minimize exposure to the elements.. and the oh so deadly wildlife.
