Somehow, twenty-five years have elapsed since I first met Toni. I'll review some of the experiences we've shared and try to distill some life lessons I've gleaned from observing her. I'll also give some examples where, for better or for worse, I was able to regard my current work through the theory-of-computation lens that she helped me to fashion.
