Why hello you lovely little peppercorns, my name's Noa Lee and Children of Silentown is the first interesting game release of the year with it's unique digital paint aesthetic, doll-like character designs, and some great music to boot. However, Children of Silentown is also a boring game, for the most part and one that most players might not enjoy. I feel that this dullness is intentional however as it really reinforces the themes of the game before delivering one hell of a strong final act that, in my opinion, makes the whole game worthwhile. Children of Silentown may not be for everyone, but it will certainly find its fans.
