This Map Doesn't Look Forged! (Downfall)
171DOWNFALL is a spiritual successor to DOWNRUSH, one of the most popular custom maps from Halo CE created by the late Pwnytar. He was one of the greatest designers our community had at the time but unfortunately his time on the Earth was cut short due to cancer. May he rest in peace and live on through the legacy of his work. Pwnytar's map has been recreated in almost every Halo game since including Halo Reach, Halo 4 and Halo 5. As a design challenge, I removed all teleporters and physically recreated the functionality of those connections. This enhances the human theme by providing a more grounded approach to the technology available to them. Gravity lifts were also removed in favor of mechanical lifts and ramps. Hopefully DOWNFALL serves as a worthy homage and testament to the skills of its former creator, Pwnytar.
