Here is a Time-lapse video of the moon done very early in the morning at 4am and this has been exposed correctly so the sky looks black. In this video you can see how the moon moves in the sky. This is how it moves as the camera is on a tripod using a 7d camera on a sigma 150-600mm lens it can be used for video but you really need a steady tripod or video head to get very smooth video.
