375Traveling solo as a woman: ALL you NEED to KNOW. Need some tips on traveling solo as a woman? It's a question I get asked a lot, as it can be super scary if you have never done solo travel. To be honest I also searched a lot for tips on traveling solo as a woman before I did it myself. It was not something I thought I would ever do in my life. But growing up and getting this undeniable urge to explore the world I ran into the reality of life. Everybody was busy building a career and family life. But I was just wondering how to see as much of the world as possible.
Regardless of my wishes, traveling solo as a woman seemed like the most scary thing ever. What if something happened to me or my belongings? How would I solve that just by myself? What if I got lost or lonely or kidnapped? There comes a time in each of our lives when you decide that youβre either going to face your own fears or live with regrets for the rest of your life.
I decided to go for it and started traveling solo as a woman. Just like with every fear, once faced, it turns out itβs not as scary as you thought it would be. Traveling solo as a woman was the best decision of my life and changed me forever.

Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.
