I felt kinda bored with my crusader character and wanted to try out a mage instead. As you guys may know I am doing 20 episodes for each of the games Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim in which I try out the games, I already did 20 for Skyrim so that one is done. I did 10 for Morrowind so still have 10 more left for that one and after this episode do 4 more episodes for Oblivion. In the future when I am done with WoW I intend to play all these games for real with some gamerules that I am still working on, so stay tuned!
In this episode I had the plan to just focus on the Mages Guild but I was carried away by the tutorial and wanted to make Baurus happy by delivering the amulet of kings and when delivering it Jauffre sounded so upset to find Martin asap that I couldn't resist going to Kvatch for him as well.
Anyway after delivering him to him and later bringing them to Cloudruler Temple I am determined now that I have done enough and want to focus on the Mages Guild from now on.
To be frank, I am not really used playing mages, especially pure mages and I soon figured out both blades and bows are kinda useless for a mage so I will ditch them and go full magic.
I think I am doing pretty well as a mage, I didn't die a single time although I almost did a few times but not quite. My strategy is basically to backpeddle when I get attacked and do a hit and run attack and keeping my distance because mages are not really build to take damage well I think.
Anyway for next time I want to try to do all the recommendation quests for all the Mages Guild halls in Cyrodiil and go from there. I also had the plan to do the Thieves Guild questline but since I only have 4 episodes left and also want to do the arena questline, I think I won't make that so yea I just want to focus with the Mages Guild from now on.
