Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss DOS gave the classic computer RPG series Ultima the 3D treatment in 1992. This technical marvel appeared a couple months before id Software's Wolfenstein 3D, and was a much more advanced 3D game.

The development team behind this game, Blue Sky Productions, would go on to found the amazing Looking Glass Studios, including designer Warren Spector.
