Early rail shooter for the Nintendo VS. cabinet. Use the light gun to shoot terrorists on an airplane, at the terminal and airport, outside the airport and at the enemy hideout. All the while that you're taking shots at the enemy before they can return fire (and deplete your energy meter), hostages or civilians will often pop up and shooting a total of 6 of them will end your game (as will running out of energy). At the bottom-right of the screen is a window where a icon will flash on occasion-- shoot it to activate it. It can be ammo refill, a more difficult current level with more and faster enemies, a grenade launcher (that takes out all enemies-- and hostages-- onscreen when you fire), health refill, a .44 magnum and a .38 caliber weapon. A special item may appear on each level and can be shot for (meager) extra points-- a plane in the distance, a coin, a balloon, a rat; to name a few. Your reward for beating all 5 levels is a kiss from your girlfriend, then you play the levels over. Play three times through and she says something other than just "congratulations". 2-player mode will switch players after completion of a level (the 2nd player plays that same level). When one player dies the other continues. The NES port has slight differences, like slightly different graphics/colors and music, and a bonus stage (kind of lame-- sort of like Hangman). Compared to the ground-breaking rail shooter OPERATION WOLF, this is a bit blah-- but I do like the opening animation sequence; for 1988 it was pretty cool!
