Looking at the pharaohs in ancient Egyptian art, whether this be Amenhotep III or Ramses II, we can see that they are depicted in rather slender forms, those that are tall and often fit in appearance.

But according to some theories, this wouldn’t have been the case when you consider the ancient Egyptian diet of beer, honey and bread - foods that are high in sugar.
