The Yiga clan may be around 100 years old, but their origins can be found 10,000 years before Breath of the Wild's events take place. These rebellious Sheikah serve Ganon, who has plagued Hyrule for ages, so is the theft of the Thunder Helm part of a larger plot?

The Yiga clan were introduced in the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, yet they've already become the subject of many theories. Breath of the Wild 2 and Age of Calamity are bound to show more of these nefarious turncoat Sheikah, and we've seen more of (a possibly new) Master Kohga in recent trailers. Is the Yiga Clan hiding something, or are they really just a bunch of banana-loving assassins who live in a secret hideout?
