Turns out, the Charge! minigame in Wii Play has an exploit strikingly similar to Mario Kart Wii's Supergrind, where rapidly moving the Wii Remote back and forth lets you move sideways at obscene speeds. This is strictly TAS only.

I haven't fully fleshed this out, hence the repeated bonks to the side, but it easily allows the course to be compleded about half a minute faster than the current RTA WR. Obviously, this isn't comparable.
