117Wilford Brimley agreed to this interview at the Monster Mania Convention in 2017, but unfortunately it did not go as well as the interviewer hoped. In an interaction worthy of a “Try Not to Cringe” video, Captain Kyle speaks to this legendary actor and clearly neither party was on the same page.
Wilford Brimley is an acting legend who appeared in such films as The Thing, Cocoon, The Natural, Hard Target and The Firm. He also appeared on television shows such as The Waltons, Our House, Walker, Texas Ranger, Seinfeld and numerous made for TV movies as well. He was also a spokesperson for Liberty Medical speaking about diabetes (aka the diabeetus meme) and for Quaker Oats.
Wilford Brimley was a true talent and has been interviewed by some of the best interviewers in the business. Captain Kyle wouldn’t put himself among their number now, forget about 4 years ago. Wilford Brimley was kind enough to agree to the interview and for that Captain Kyle is grateful. Wilford’s acting legacy will always live on and he is greatly missed.
