Many people have struggled with Live-Streaming the original KOTOR on PC due to the game closing when clicking away from the game. I played around with the settings and found a solution that works for me. Here is how I allowed KOTOR to launch in Windowed Mode, which allows me to easily stream the game in Stream Labs:

Go into the game's folder and locate the "swkotor.ini" file. (The "Configuration settings").
It's recommended that you make a backup copy of this file just in case.
Open the swkotor file in NotePad and scroll down to the section labeled "Graphics Options"
Where it says "Fullscreen=1", edit that to say "Fullscreen=0"
Then below it, add "AllowWindowedMode=1" to the bottom of the Graphics Options section.
Save the file and load the game.

KOTOR will now launch in Windowed Mode. This will allow you to click away from the game without it closing. It also allows you to resize the image in Stream Labs.
Personally, I use the 4X3 resolution of 1600X1200 for the best 4x3 experience. This allows me to leave space to place my camera and other elements without overlapping the game screen.

I hope this helps! Took a while to finally find a solution that worked for me.
