World of Warcraft Classic (Impressions / Review)
3Hey hey folks, Dave here. This is an impressions / review video I made after playing World of Warcraft Classic for around 24 hours. Enjoy!
It's been a long time since World of Warcraft has been like this. That's part of what pulled me in. I played the game in its public beta before launch in 2004 and have come and gone from Azeroth ever since. My desire to see the game the way it used to be was for nostalgic reasons, but also curiousity. I wondered if the original game would still be entertaining after all the expansions and changes in MMO design over the years. Would I feel a greater sense of accomplishment in Azeroth, or would I feel like I was having my time wasted? These thoughts were on my mind as I created a Night Elf Druid and started playing.
To not reveal too much of the video, I did enjoy myself, but I had to fight for every step forward. WoW Classic emphasizes cooperation, preperation, and paying attention. It's still an escapist fantasy like most video games, but one that commands focus. Find out more in the video!
