13Here's our First Look at Tier VI Russian Battleship Izmail.

OVERVIEW
+ Average health for the tier. Belt armor is slightly below some of her competition at Tier VI, but stout enough. Torpedo defense is well below the norm, she’ll eat a lot of pain from torpedoes. Her bow armor, though, is an impressive 113mm; no overmatching the bow of this ship! The Casemate armor is a paltry 25mm, though, and smart cruiser players will learn to take advantage of it.
+ She packs twelve 14” rifles in four triple turrets. Her nearest analogues in-game are probably Arizona and New Mexico. She has worse dispersion and better sigma than New Mexico, but worse sigma and roughly equal dispersion to Arizona. Her shell velocities are a little slower than her American competition, but probably not so much you’ll notice.
+ Secondary battery isn’t anything special. She mounts ten single-barrel 130mm mounts, and four double-barrel 130mm mounts. The double-barrel mounts fire pretty quickly, with only a five second reload. The single mounts are much slower, only firing once ever twelve seconds. All of them have a paltry 4.0 km range.
+ AA is hard to gauge right now, as the 0.8.1 PTS is using the pre-0.8.0.1 hotfix AA values. If I’m extrapolating this correctly, her long-range aura will be fairly average for Tier VI - not as good as Bayern or Prinz Eitel Friedrich’s - and her mid-range aura will be best-in-tier. Her short-range aura should land below the norm.
+ Izmail is quick for a Tier VI battleship, approaching 29 knots. She’s not French fast, but she’ll get around the map WAY better than a lot of her competition at the tier. Her rudder shift is actually quite good for the tier, at only twelve seconds when fully upgraded.
+ It’s good she has speed, because she doesn’t have stealth. Izmail’s not the easiest Tier VI battleship to spot - that honor remains with Fuso’s pagoda mast - but she’s easier to detect than a lot of her counterparts in other nations. All of the American, British, and German battleships of this tier out-spot her, save West Virginia.
+ Consumables loadout is the standard damage control and repair. The heal is the same that most other Tier VI battleships receive. Despite having a catapult on Turret No. 3, she does not have access to Catapult Fighter or Spotting Aircraft.
SUMMARY:
Izmail looks like a solid battleship for her tier. She may not be the best one to lead a push if there are known to be destroyers about, given her vulnerability to torpedoes. If her goal is to bully an opposing battleship out of a particular area, though, she’s built for the task with her armor belt, speed, and accuracy.
