Backlog of Materia Music!! This one is very near and dear to my heart. I have collaborated a number of times with some friends to make symphonic metal music under the name Life Stream. This time we teamed up with Thomas Kresge, a musician who makes some of the best orchestral arrangements I've ever heard.

The process of making this happen was quite an undertaking, and I could go on at length about what that was like for me, but I'm not sure anyone would *really* care. Suffice to say that we all worked really hard! It was not easy! But I'm proud of the end result.

My friend Darby Cupit and I wrote the lyrics, and we are the vocalists :) so you can blame me for all those high notes. I also played flute. The final track wound up being ... a little high ... but we were determined to make it work, and I hope you like it.

More info on the track here:

It's meant to be a dialogue between Zidane and Garnet during that moment of hopelessness in the game. Darby completely KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK with the spoken introduction (can you tell he's a voice actor?). I absolutely love and adore these characters so much, and I'm very glad to have an excuse to dig into their story.

Come say hi to me! I love to keep in touch with fans and friends. :)
