YouTube is Making GREAT Monetization Changes for Small Creators!
In this video, I will explain the new revenue sharing programs coming to small creators on YouTube. Announced by Neal Mohan, CEO of YouTube, YouTube is now allowing:
US-based creators with more than 20,000 subscribers to earn money through YouTube's Shopping Affiliate Network. It will no longer be invite-only. Now you can tag a product, and if viewers buy it, you will earn a share of the revenue!
Smaller creators that do not meet the YT AdSense Eligibility Requirements can still earn revenue through Super Chat and Super Thanks as long as they have more than 500 subscribers, three public videos, and either 3,000 watch hours or 3 million short views in the last 90 days. This seems ridiculous just because at that point, you are almost eligible for AdSense anyways. Nevertheless, this is still an additional tool for creators to earn money $$. No one can complain about new creator monetization tools!
