MythForce is a First Person Action RPG Hack and Slash Dungeon Crawler with an incredible Saturday morning cartoon look: think He-man and friends, but with more clothes, and random dungeons!

Incredible Feeling Hack and Slash Combat:
Think Skyrim like combat, but even better!
The melee combat in MythForce feels like a better take on Skyrim, with the addition of a quick dash everyone just gets; thank you!
Like in Skyrim, you have your fast attack, and your power attack, and these attacks drains stamina.
You can hold to block, taking stamina damage if hits connects, and there is a powerful running charge attack like in Skyrim too.
Combine all this Skyrim influenced Hack and Slash combat with fun, random dungeon lvls forged with Procedural Generation, and you have a very fun Dungeon Crawler on your hands!

If so, you’ll likely love MythForce, as it’s full of it!
Like in Ziggurat and its excellent sequel, in MythForce you hack and slash all the monsters down to clear a room, search it for loot and treasure, dodge traps, then do it again!
Oh ya!
The traps here can be nasty, like explosive plant things that grow on the floor and walls, poison pits, and surprisingly sneaky flame jet traps, but all of these traps roast the monsters too.
The plant firebomb torn things are especially helping, as when they blow, they deal massive fire damage, and literally knock enemies down!
Careful Hero, they will knock you on your mythic ass too!
As you hack and Slash through your many foes, you lvl up, and can Pick 1 of 3 perks at the perks shrines, and at the anvils, with 4 rerolls by default; nice.
I spoke of loot and treasure above, and there is lots of it!
There is tons of gold and gems and jewels to auto snatch up from chests, barrels, and even pots, equipment for your current run like amulets, charms, boots, and bracers, along with the meta progression gems and runes.
Meta Progression:
As a Roguelite, Meta Progression is a big part of Mythforce.
Meta Currencies are the gold, and the red runes, and are used to unlock Magical artifacts and character weapon upgrades in the starting HUB area.
Think in between run upgrades like better perks that can drop, better trinkets, as well as visual cosmetics and callout barks from the skeleton.
There are also the stacking attack, energy, hp, and defense upgrades from the queen, tied to the return of different colors of gems to the queen; ok.
There are quests to do in the runs that grant meta currency rewards as well.
I did not feel weak at the start, which is a common weakness I see in many other roguelites, so that is good.
I will also say that I cleared lvl 1 on hard absent any upgrades, so I’m not sure how necessary these meta progression upgrades are to clear the game; maybe they are on mythic lvls?
Controller Support is present, and rebindable, as is good old mouse and keyboard; the superior choice for first person games in my humble opinion.
