Seeking Shamblers - Episode 312 - TF 1.3: two forts
0Today we showcase possibly the most well known and famous map for TeamFortress and thus one of the most well known custom maps we could find for Quake. There really isn't a lot to be said about this one from our perspective, sadly, since there are no Weapons or other resources on the map. It is just class vs class, similar to other TeamFortress maps like deathX.
A big thing of showing this map is that it also gives me an excuse to show off all the classes of TeamFortress 1.3. Sadly some don't really show much unless you have another player, so what is seen is pretty limited, though it at least gets the idea across of what we could have at this point.
As for the map itself, it is just your basic TeamFortress level. Unlike deathX there are no killer black squares, so we really have little more than some basic geometry. We get some confusion on where to go with the flag, but enough wandering and thinking about what the words "central battlement" seems to have cleared up the issue.
