This is where I encounter levels that are difficult to navigate. One I really loath for how I feel it commits a common issue with this expansion. It's too claustrophobic and mazey. And out of nowhere, a wild Overlord comes into the scene and disappeared. I didn't wanna bother looking for that thing anymore as I had a video to finish so I rushed around for the exit.

The maze, ironically, is a better level to navigate.
Another thing I noticed was the lack of Quad Damages compared to the last expansion. And how little Vores were used. It was always ogres and fiends and occasionally a shambler here or there.
Castle would've made me go around the intended paths if not for the ability to rocket jump.
Mummies are just the flesh throwing zombies but tougher and make light. I got nothing much to say about the Egyptian Gaurdians or the High Priest since they're kinda forgettable.

One thing I do hate is the earthquake inclusion and how it messes up my movement and jumps. It's super frustrating to deal with, especially when I encounter the dragon. I seriously thought I was gonna get softlocked when I kept dying to this thing with little health. Once again the Thunderbolt altfire is useless.
Eventually I pull a Quake II by blowing up an electrical core that's somehow in a cavern across a castle and its just... what??
I can understand slipgates but I am very confused with the inclusion of futuristic tech near a location that's fully medieval and Egyptian. Maybe I'm dumb. Who knows. Anyways I beat the dragon and ended the the two mission packs. There's two other expansions done by MachineGames and another expansion for Quake II done by the same people which I won't touch upon at the moment due to personal priorities at home and other matters. I may do them if I get myself a 2nd storage box to contain my videos.

Anyways not as bad as Final Doom but I feel Quake II's expansions, inspite of having some faults are more interesting in my opinion. I'll catch ya'll later in some other video.
