Welcome back to We Play Games! As of the most recent update for the Skirmish Mod, Badok has introduced the Menagerie to our fun little warfare-only format. The Menagerie offers access to a *lot* of really powerful units, so at the moment we're trying to come up with limits on them that allow players to use the Swamp Trolls or Spring Faeries or whatever within some kind of reason. At the moment, though, as they are really new to the scene, we're gonna let Ninjew off the hook and see what happens when folks have (mostly) unfettered access to non-tome and non-culture units.
Within the world of "regular" Age of Wonders 4, of course, these units will be comparatively more difficult to get in small quantities but a lot easier to mass, assuming they are coming from rallies and the like. Is it a bad idea to allow folks with T3 tomes and no natural T4 to just grab whatever T4 the map "might" have provided? Maybe? It will certainly result in some high powered fights regardless.
Also hopefully no Mage Bane, that thing is very silly.
