4Kia is making a splash in the budding electric SUV segment with the all-new 2024 EV9. As one of the first mass-market three-row electric SUVs, the EV9 looks to bring family hauling capabilities to the EV arena while maintaining Kia's value proposition.\n\nWith bold styling that echoes the brand's gas-powered Telluride, the EV9 cuts an imposing figure. A future GT model could pack up to 576 electrified horses.\n\nRange is competitive too, with Kia quoting up to 304 miles for RWD models and 280 miles for AWD versions equipped with the larger 99.8 kWh battery pack. Thanks to 800V architecture and peak charging rates over 200 kW, the EV9 can gain 100 miles of range in just 13 minutes when connected to a DC fast charger.\n\nInside, the EV9 sports a spacious and versatile cabin with available second-row captain's chairs and a usable third row. While some materials could be improved, the overall design and features are strong for the price point, which starts at $56,395. Higher trims like the $75,395 GT-Line add niceties like a hands-free driving mode.\n\nWith impressive performance and range complementing its family-friendly interior and value pricing, the 2024 Kia EV9 is shaping up to be one of the most compelling new entries in the electric SUV realm.
