#01 - Kingdom Hearts Dark Road - Episode 1: Unexpected Departure (Quests 01 ~ 14)

So, some info and personal impressions about the game. The game doesn't look bad, but I still need to figure out most of its features. After a full hour of playing, though, it kind of seems that it's just about grinding and defeating an enemy after another in order to unlock the story related dialogues. Unlike in Union Cross where you can move around the map, in Dark Road you can leave your phone on Auto mode and let Xehanort fight on his own against an infinite wave of enemies just to complete the missions. I can't and I won't judge the game yet, but this is the major impression I got. Of course it will be more challenging and it will require more of the player's attention and skills to defeat tougher enemies as time goes by.
This video shows my very first gameplay of the game (I did take a quick look at the Japanese version a few hours ago, but I couldn't read most of the gameplay stuff), so I thought of leaving some of my attempts and the menu stuff, in order to help new players who could feel a bit lost. It's totally fine to lose against the Heartless on your first attempts, that's something the game actually wants you to do.
So what do you need to do? Go to the Home screen and read the Main Mission requirement on the top right of the screen. If the Main Mission requires, for instance, to defeat x30 Heartless, you should press on the World Battle red button at the bottom of the Home screen. That will enable an infinite fight against waves of Heartless. After defeating x30 Heartless (or completing any other objectives) you are free to leave the fight and see the Main Mission to be completed. That will either unlock a new Main Mission (to be completed in World Battle again) or a Quest. The Quest button will appear on the top right corner of the Home Screen. Quests are story-related battles (some of them, at least) and will eventually unlock cutscenes. After completing a certain number of Quests, new Main Missions will appear with new requirements, and so on. Basically you must complete Main Missions in order to unlock Quests. Main Missions are usually long to complete (they can require to defeat a total of x100 Heartless or collect a huge number of BP) so I highly suggest to simply play and achieve some challenges. If you lose, don't use the Charm to continue the battle, since you can find a better use of them in tougher battles. Achieving some missions will get you a Minnie card (as shown at 25:40) which lets you use Cure if you select her card first during battles. Cards' abilities are enabled by selecting them first. Now that you can heal yourself you're able to keep fighting longer.
These are the first suggestions coming out of my mind right now but I might have forgotten a couple of things. Most of the other gameplay stuff is told by the game tutorial but feel free to comment down below if you need anything. Me and the other players who have spent more time than me will be able to give proper suggestions. Here's the timestamps list including the cutscenes and the quests. Main Missions are shown as well, but they're edited as there's no need to watch the same battle against infinite waves of enemies over and over.
