This is an Archived Live-Stream. But not just any Stream, Three and a half hours of grinding. This video should be skipped. Shadowrun is an Cyberpunk Fantasy game taking place in the near future in a world with an alternate history where magic came back. Humans transformed into all sorts of mythological creatures, dormant spirits and artifacts woke up, and magic itself returned to the world. The result is a dystopian world where Mega-Corporations rule not only with superior firepower, but ancient magics.

The most famous Shadowrun Video Game was for the Super Nintendo which was an adaptation of a novel. This game, is not that. This is a Sandbox game that aims to replicate the Shadowrun tabletop experience on a micro-level by randomly generating filler quests for you to do until you are ready to take on the Main Quest of the game. Like many Sandbox games, the Main Quest is just there to cap off the experience.

So, a sandbox game with procedurally generated quests that unlocks new areas as you complete jobs. Never heard of this sub-genre before. ;)
