Shield shunt Condor had no shields to get fluxed up with, and the fighters/piliums had the Doom too worried to chase properly. So the Doom died to the Condor before the Doom's CR started dropping. This was with one of the mission Condors, so no campaign or fleet admiral buffs either. I think it took a total of around 6 minutes 30 seconds.
