When it comes to animated franchises, Ice Age is one of the most profitable of all time, but currently, the top franchise is Despicable Me, and one of the minds behind it is working on a brand new project. Sergio Pablos worked on the story behind Smallfoot and he’s bringing the same irreverent humor and world building to this movie as he did to the Despicable Me series. This, combined with fantastic music from the likes of Zendaya and Niall Horan, means that Smallfoot might just be a better movie than the beloved classic, Ice Age.

In addition, the movie also has acting talent from LeBron James and Channing Tatum to contend with.
