Unique instruments is getting ready to come out with a DIY kit for laptops, the kit would consist of a LC parallel barrier filter that you could mod onto your laptop. The version they are showing is just laying across the screen but they hope to provide various solutions at launch to enable some cool mods.

What is interesting about their offering is that they aren't just offering the hardware, they provide three software packages one of which is eye tracking software. The camera will track your eye and automatically adjust the viewing angle of the screen to provide you with the best 3D experience possible. This also means that this is aimed at a solo viewing experience and right now won't be scaled up to TV's. During my demo of the device I had to move to find the perfect viewing angle, so it would be possible to share the 3D experience, it just wouldn't be ideal.
