This inventor run is INSANE. Since your equipment now falls apart after so many uses you start to run out of ways to do damage if you're not careful! Turns out that if you pick the equipment recovery item and use it properly it's a lot safer. I only figured out how to abuse it near the end by doubling it with the chocolate cookie to get two uses outta the recovery (it doesn't cost two usage points! just one!) AND if it makes sense you can upgrade the equipment recovery item to regain uses on itself!
My fight at the end with the cat cowboy was suuuuper crazy sketchy lucky. I had a healing item and managed to get a lot of use outta it (remember, you can use the same equipment multiple times a turn in this mode!) but even so, he had a good chance of taking me out a following turn! Good thing the rules this time allows you to make gadgets on the fly! I pulled something very crazy off with that!
Ther's a VERY large focus on attack equipment this round, because the last thing you want is to be left high and dry with no way to retaliate in a battle!

An adventure capitalizing on luck and iterative deck-building! The soft-storybook style lends a lovely charm only to disarm and distract you from the deceptively deep mechanics the game provides! There's a new twist to be found around every corner with the rules changing every character and episode!
I love this game! It's a game of chance but gives you the tools to bend luck to your will! You (generally) start with a small stack of equipment that you cultivate as you go until you're an unstoppable force to be reckoned with! This removes a lot of the pain of choice paralysis when it comes to deck building since you don't have to build a huge deck all at once. And you can only have a few pieces of equipment (generally) at your disposal anyway!
The game rewards you greatly for experimentation and often I've found that even when seemingly stuck in a dead end that if you focus on a certain aspect (healing, defense, offense) or capitalizing on certain synergy with a new card you'll find your eureka moment and bust through!
We're starting with the Warrior character and going through a tutorial of sorts, first. I had expected the game to end after the tutorial but it goes right into the first Dungeon! Or rather, you were in it all along~! He's the most basic die but has plenty of utility about him with his reroll and fury abilities!

Captured on my computer with NVENC hardware encoding using an NVIDIA GPU with the Turing architecture. At the time of publishing this is the highest quality NVENC available with the same quality achieved in the newer Ampere architecture.
A framerate cap of 57fps was implemented to enable best use of the G-Sync feature on my tv.
