#16 - HAVE VIDEO GAMES GOTTEN TOO EASY? - No Objective Gaming Podcast
Are you getting pissed off at how easy games are getting these days? Do you want to know WHY games have gotten so easy? Well this week on the No Objective Gaming Podcast Aaron and Jordan discuss the decline in difficulty in video games over the last 20 years! We talk about our experience with games getting WAY TOO EASY from when we were tiny little children to all the way until we grew into bearded lumberjacks. We also talk about the rise of really difficult games like Nioh, Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Nier: Automata who have paved the way for a return to a difficult, gritty style of gameplay!
As usual we discuss the week in gaming news, including the rumours about the Mini Super Nintendo that may be released later this year, StarCraft going FREE on Battle.Net, the new Call of Duty World War 2 game being confirmed, and the Halo Wars 2 DLC being delayed. We also discuss Aaron's weeaboo ways with his continued obsession of Persona 4 and talk about our Retro Games Done Sh*t where we played Donkey Kong Country and Jordan got REALLY salty!
