The Celestials seem like the unstoppable judges of the Universes, filling them with life and then judging that life because being beings that powerful is complicated. As it turns out, though, the Marvel Universe is full of beings of unimaginable power running around doing their own balancing act between creation and destruction and the Celestials don’t always top that list. Beings like Infinity who contain their own opposite in the form of beings like Abraxas can turn the whole power structure of multidimensional reality upside down. You don’t even have to be one of those beings but just a tool of one of those beings to end up on the threatening side of the Celestial power scale. Chief among them is Galactus. That doesn’t even start to take into account all the beings of immeasurable power who take credit for Galactus’ existence, like Black Winter or Infinity or even the Celestials themselves. If all of reality isn’t putting up enough of a challenge as you’d like then there’s always the option of creating their own worst enemy like the Celestials did creating the Beyonders. Then there are those beings that just didn’t know that they had their own extra gear when it came to their power until push came to shove and you have things like the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider ghost riding a suit of Celestial armor.
