Improved Anvil version 3.0 is a tactical mod in spirit of Weimer's Tactics that enhances some encounters, but does not remake the game or add a ton of bloat.

Further there is TobEx for improved functionality, custom NPCs such as Anjatis, Branwen, Kelsey, Adrian, Solaufein and Valen. Improved Animations mod will make the game look more fresh, so will 1PP project and BG2 Improved GUI. Sound volume is also fixed, therefore no more loud Fire Shield humming, some extra animations and graphics are added. Graphics is upscaled to work better at 16:9 monitors and more convenient method of selecting spells is installed. Further atweaks remade weapon proficiencies to BG1 style, unnerfed thaco and spell progression for all classes and helped us to battle inventory system and removed annoying effects.

We also have original BG1 walking speed during combat, outside combat our walking speed is greatly enhanced and that's pretty much it. Most NPCs are buffed in terms of stats, class and weapon proficiencies so I don't have to use full custom party which is not ideal in BG2. For instance Anomen is multiclassed Fighter/Cleric with 18 Dexterity and 2 pipes in 2-weapons fighting style. Most joinable NPCs also got portrait facelift, some even got new animations. Voiceovers are disabled cause I can barely stand them.
