20 BIGGEST Indie Games in 2025
2472024 was a remarkable year for indie games and 2025 looks like it's going to be just as good. I compiled a list of 20 of my favorite upcoming indie games in the new year. Some of these I've had my eye on for years and am happy to see they're finally coming out.
You may be wondering why Subnautica 2 or Slay the Spire 2 aren't on this list. I chose not to include Subnautica 2 since the studio behind that game is now owned by Krafton, and I just can't consider them indie anymore. Slay the Spire 2 isn't on the list because, quite frankly, I didn't like the first game. And Hollow Knight Silksong isn't on the list because I made that mistake last year and that's not happening again!
