2024 Ford Maverick XLT: POV Start Up, Test Drive, Walkaround and Review
0π In todays review we take a look at the smallest Ford pickup truck to date! This is the 2024 Ford Maverick XLT! The Ford Maverick was introduced a few years ago and I haven't really been around the truck all that often, so it was great to experience this Ford for a week to get a better feel! The Ford Maverick is more of an SUV with a pickup on the back. So it's what I'll call a "city truck", that's great because you get the functions of a pickup without the added size! This is a pickup truck that you can use for lawn equipment, recreational toys, etc. and even still tow smaller trailers!
The exterior for the Ford Maverick looks very similar to the larger F series trucks in some aspects and has a boxy design overall! The interior is very basic along with the technology available.
The 2024 Ford Maverick has two engine options available, along with several trim levels and drivetrains depending on what suits you best.
The Ford Maverick has a starting MSRP around $28K, so this XLT was close to that entry level price point. You can get more options of course.
Driving the Ford Maverick is very nice. It definitely rides more like an SUV, it's very quiet and for it's smaller size, it has a lot of interior space! This would make for a great daily driver if you want a pickup that gets great mpg, but is also practical!
